1. What is Trade-in?| 什么是以旧换新?

The Music of May Instrument Trade-In Program allows you to trade in your current instrument and receive store credit toward the purchase of a new or upgraded instrument.

This program is designed to support students as they grow, helping reduce the cost of upgrading while ensuring instruments continue to be used and appreciated.

Music of May 的乐器以旧换新计划,允许您用现有乐器换取店内抵扣额度,用于购买新的或更高等级的乐器。

该计划旨在支持学生的学习进阶,在降低升级成本的同时,让乐器继续被珍惜和使用。

2. How does Trade-in Work? | 以旧换新如何运作?

1) Submit your instrument information through our Trade-In Assessment Form

2) Our team reviews your submission and provides an estimated trade-in value

3) Bring in your instrument for in-person inspection

4) Receive store credit toward your next instrument purchase

1) 填写「乐器以旧换新评估表」并提交乐器信息

2) 我们根据资料提供初步估值区间

3) 携带乐器到店进行实物检测

4) 获得可用于新乐器购买的店内抵扣额度

3. How Trade-in Valued | 以旧换新抵扣方式

  • Trade-in value is offered as store credit, not cash.
  • Store credit can be applied toward 
    • New instruments
    • Upgraded instruments
  • 以旧换新的价值将以店内抵扣额度的形式提供,不提供现金回收。
  • 抵扣额度可用于:
    • 新乐器购买
    • 乐器升级

4. Trade-in Eligibility | 以旧换新符合条件

We currently accept trade-ins for selected instruments, including but not limited to:

    • Guqin | Guzheng | Erhu | Piupa | Yangqin | Violin | Cello
    • Education-level instruments and above.
    • You are upgrading your instrument from Music of May.

Instruments must be structurally sound and in playable condition.

我们目前接受以下类型乐器的以旧换新申请(不限于):

    • 古琴 | 古筝 | 二胡 | 琵琶 | 扬琴 | 小提琴 | 大提琴
    • 教育级及以上乐器
    • 您在从五月琴行进行乐器升级

乐器需结构完整、可正常演奏。

5. Trade-in Eligibility | 不符合情况

We reserve the right to decline trade-ins for instruments that:

    • Have severe cracks or structural damage
    • Lack identifiable maker or brand information
    • Require major repairs exceeding resale value

**Submission does not guarantee acceptance.

以下情况我们可能无法接受以旧换新:

    • 严重开裂或结构性损坏
    • 无法识别品牌或来源
    • 维修成本高于乐器价值

**提交评估表并不代表一定接受换新。
